12th edition of Aero India
- The 12th edition of Aero India is expected to remain muted in terms of exhibitors as well as variety in the famed air show.
- Aero India 2019 has 403 Indian and foreign exhibitors, which is down by 26% from the previous edition and significantly lower than the record high of 650 exhibitors in the 2015 edition where Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a pitch for his ‘Make in India’ campaign.
- Aero India 2019 is seeing numerous conferences and pavilions on civil aviation. Since 2008, Aero India had been largely confined to military and defence sectors while civil aviation was featured in the Indian Civil Aviation Air Show in Hyderabad.
