Rs 60 lakh released for state-level youth festival to be held in Bidar
- For the first time the state-level youth festival would be organised in Bidar in May.
- Youth Empowerment & Sports Department Joint Director M S Ramesh said earlier the youth festival was planned at Tumakur but as the state-level fest was not organised so far in north Karnataka districts it was decided to conduct the programme in Bidar this time.
- Youth and art troupes from 30 districts of the state would take part in the programme. The artistes would perform folk events, dances, singing and other cultural programmes for three days.
